Workers Compensation Certification

All of our physicians have been certified by the Division of Workers Compensation of the State of Florida for treatment of Workers Compensation injuries.

Board Certification

All of our physicians are board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. The rigorous requirements of certification indicate that the surgeon has been able to indicate expertise in his chosen specialty to his peers.

Treatment Philosophy

While our physicians are surgeons by training we are committed to the use of conservative care whenever possible. Casts, splints, braces, medication, therapy, and patient education are used as alternatives to surgery when medically indicated.

Return To Work

The physicians of Kennedy-White Orthopaedics realize that an important part of the treatment of a workers compensation patient is the facilitation of the patients return to work. We are committed to working with the patient, case manager, and the employer to return the patient to work as soon as clinically prudent. We will work with the case manager/employer to define light or restricted duty whenever appropriate.
